About Whitney Jasmin

Driven by a lifelong passion for healthcare and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives, Whitney Jasmin Audiology was founded with a heart for compassionate, patient-centred hearing care — right at home in Edenvale.

Whitney Jasmin was born and raised in Edenvale and completed her schooling at Edenglen High School, where she excelled academically and was actively involved in leadership. She went on to graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg with a Bachelor of Audiology degree. During her time at university, Whitney was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society and served as Head of Communications for UNICEF Wits, roles that strengthened her leadership, advocacy, and communication skills.

Whitney is currently furthering her studies towards a Master of Audiology, ensuring that her clients receive evidence-based care aligned with the latest advancements in the field.

She completed her community service year at GJ Crookes Hospital in Scottburgh, KwaZulu-Natal, where she gained extensive experience working across both hospital and clinic settings, including rural communities. This exposure allowed her to develop a deep appreciation for the diverse hearing healthcare needs of patients across all ages and backgrounds.

Whitney’s passion for audiology is deeply personal. It was inspired by her grandmother’s journey with hearing loss and the close bond they share — an experience that highlighted the powerful role hearing plays in connection, communication, and quality of life.

After completing community service, Whitney returned to Johannesburg and chose to serve the Edenvale community, because home is where her journey began. Her approach to care is thorough, empathetic, and focused on empowering patients through education and personalised solutions tailored to their hearing, communication, and lifestyle needs.

Outside of the clinic, Whitney enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, watching Bollywood movies, and unwinding with a cup of tea — with chai being a firm favourite!
